The Western UP offers dozens of different skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. 

Centrally located and only a short walk from Indianhead Valley is Indianhead Mountain in Wakefield, MI.  Indianhead Mountain offers 638 feet of vertical, 29 runs, 9 lifts and 2 terrain parks.

Only a 1 mile drive down the road from Indianhead Valley, in Bessemer, MI is Blackjack Mountain.  Blackjacks stats are 465 foot vertical, 19 runs, 6 lifts and 2 terrain parks.

For the cross country skiiers and snowshoers the Western UP serves up ABR.  ABR Trails is located on over 1100 acres along the Montreal River in Ironwood, MI.
